Caregiver FAQ

Q; Does insurance cover the cost of CPAP therapy?
A: Most insurance companies cover CPAP therapy if clinically necessary. Sleep Easy works with insurance providers on behalf of the patient.

Q: Will it cost my patient more to use a specialty CPAP provider?
A: All medical equipment companies use the same insurance billing code for CPAP equipment and supplies. Therefore, the equipment provider gets the same payment whether they provide minimal service or quality care. Sleep Easy charges the patient’s insurance company the same rate other providers would charge, but provides superior service and follow-up care.

Q: My nurses are busy. Will they have to deal with CPAP therapy follow-up?
A: Sleep Easy Therapeutics follows up with every patient on an ongoing basis to monitor progress, make adjustments and provide advice on use and care of equipment. As a courtesy, therapy progress reports are shared with the referring physician’s office.

Q: Are sleep disorder patients really compliant with their therapy?
A: The main reason for failure is inadequate education and follow-up. Our dedication to patient education and follow-up makes a tremendous difference in utilization of treatment. Sleep Easy has a first year compliance rate of 94% which is well above the industry-wide average of 41%. (Wheat First Union, Home Healthcare Monitor Report).

Q: With which sleep labs does Sleep Easy work?
A: Sleep Easy works with multiple labs and physicians across the country.
